Vinted Shoppers Express Frustration Regarding Sizing Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has altered its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes without notifying all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online saying Vinted listings now show a different size category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Updates
Earlier, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Required Changes
A different user, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
