Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.

The celebrated industry figure died after his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.
