The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, demons, and sinister influences increasing in power within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look mismatched, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, invading the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as key figures in the powerful family could help the party enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can expect finding out which adventurers will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
