The City of Angels witnessed widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
