I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
