Composer and producer Brian Eno, who features on the track, stated that the song titled Lullaby represents a opportunity to stand with Palestinians this festive season. He acknowledged the potential for an unexpected chart success.
“That would be amazing if that happened, yes,” he commented. “I won't be completely let down if it doesn’t, holiday tracks are a unique phenomenon.”

Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, who features in the reimagining of a traditional lullaby called Yamma Mwel El Hawa, explained the song's resilient spirit.
“It has a very special place for countless listeners,” Barghouti said. “The essence is that I would choose to perish with honor than live a life without freedom. That’s the main theme of the song; we desire to exist a respectful existence that we deserve as Palestinians.”

The track was produced in the wake of a major charity concert held in September. Originally intended to be done as a live recording, the performance was omitted from the lengthy event due to the event running long.

“Given that reality, a few million won't make a massive dent. But I think the significant factor is first of all raising awareness for this issue and showing the human dimension of the story.”
